The High Performance Motor from Lafert has been awarded as the winner in the Green Building Category of the 2014 AHR Expo Innovation Awards Competition.
A panel of Industry Professionals, selected for their knowledge and expertise in the HVACR Industry, found our product to be worthy of this honour.
The AHR Expo Innovation Awards recognize products that best help HVACR practitioners provide safer, healthier, more efficient and/or more comfortable environments. The annual competition is sponsored by ASHRAE, the Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) and the International Exposition Company (IEC).
A first-place winner was named in 10 categories. 33 products were awarded honourable mention. Entries were received and judged by panels of ASHRAE members. The criteria are innovation, application, value to the user and market impact.
The High Performance Motor range by Lafert is the winning answer to the growing demand for Energy Savings by green oriented businesses. The innovative Permanent Magnet motors (SMPM or IPM) go beyond the traditional distinction between brushless servo motors and asynchronous AC motors, featuring a mix of the best performing elements of both technologies. As an Award Winner, we will receive a crystal award and a placard to place in our booth at the AHR Show in New York, Jan 21- 23. The Innovation Award results will be published in the ASHRAE Journal, on the AHR Expo website, and in a number of other Industry publications.
