The recognition was awarded on the occasion of the Padua stage of the SMAU roadshow dedicated to innovation
The Lafert Group has won the SMAU 2019 Innovation Award, the prestigious award given to companies that have been able to seize growth opportunities in digital transformation.
Pierantonio Macola, President of SMAU, handed over the Award to Cristiana Damele, CFO Finance & Corporate Services Lafert Group, on the occasion of the 12th edition of SMAU Padova – the event dedicated to companies and local administrations interested in approaching the world of research and of product and process development.
The Jury awarded this recognition to Lafert ‘for having introduced informative innovations that support and accompany the Group’s development’ and, especially, for its technological revolution that enhances existing tools and allows for quicker reporting, more sophisticated data analysis and remote access to analytics.
In fact, the Group’s rapid growth has highlighted the need to define new shared processes that integrate production, management control and sales data. Cristiana Damele, CFO Finance & Corporate Services Lafert Group, said: ‘We are honoured to receive this award and to be acknowledged for the important technical and organisational progress made within our company. The analysis phase for the implementation of the new solutions gave very positive results, improving awareness amongst the various sectors and with those who work in them.
