A few kilometres away but with much more space: Lafert Servo Drives relocates its headquarters to meet the increasing demands of its research and production activities. The benefits include new offices, a larger production area and modern workshops dedicated to the design and test of customised drives.

We moved offices and production during the Christmas closure” says the Operation Manager for Lafert Servo Drives, Mattia Calanchi, “it was a joint effort in which everyone participated and helped out. And at the end of all the work, we were rewarded with a new, modern working environment which will let us take a leap forward in our activities both in terms of quality and quantity”.

Research and development in the electronics sector is in the vanguard of a company that continues to strive to be even more beneficial to its customers and partners with custom-designed products. Lafert Servo Drives has experience in many diverse fields of application, from the textile sector with IPM (Interior Permanent Magnets) motors that optimise performance and reduce costs, using sophisticated frame controls, to the material handling sector with the new technologies applied to AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicle).

The know-how acquired over the years, the use of advanced synchronous motor control technology and quality distinguish Lafert products. This assures optimal performance with a focus on innovation.

Lots of projects are currently under development and the focus is on both open loop and closed loop controls. Among these, innovative drives were developed for fields such as ventilation and pumps, which often require highly optimised and efficient systems.

The relocation enables Lafert to grow and offer an even higher level of service to its customers.
