Lafert Suzhou, under the sign of the Dragon!

In the Year of the Dragon which in China represents positive energy, success and dynamism, on 5th September 2012, Lafert Suzhou was opened. This is the new Lafert Group's 6,000 m2 manufacturing plant located in Suzhou, 100 km from Shanghai.

In the Year of the Dragon which in China represents positive energy, success and dynamism, on 5th September 2012, Lafert Suzhou was opened. This is the new Lafert Group's 6,000 m2 manufacturing plant located in Suzhou, 100 km from Shanghai.



The Italian Consul, Vincenzo de Luca took part in the opening ceremony and other guests that joined with the Board of the Lafert Group and the new Suzhou plant's Management Team.
The Government and the Public Administration were represented by the Secretary of CPC Committee of Suzhou, Wuzhong District, Mr. Yu Xingnan; by the Secretary of Working Party Committee of Wuzhong Economic Development Zone, Mr. Shen Mi, Member of Standing Committee of CPC Wuzhong District; by Mr. Xu Zhenhua, Member of Standing Committee of CPC Wuzhong District, Standing Deputy Director of People's Government of Wuzhong District; by Mr. He Yue, Director of Foreign Affairs Office of WZD; by Mrs. Gao Qian, Director of Investment Promotion Bureau of SWEDZ as well as by other several members of the local administrations. Many other partners, customers and suppliers also took part in the event.

Lafert have made this significant investment for two reasons, customer service and strategic placement.
The presence of Lafert in China is the answer to the increasing growth in manufacturing plants of important partners in this key region. The reduction in delivery times and transport/logistics costs will allow both parties a more advantageous mutual supply and a strengthened partnership, without giving up the recognised quality of the Lafert product, assured by the close connection with the mother company.

The Lafert Suzhou plant will produce brushless servomotors, permanent magnet synchronous motors and gearless machines for elevators, these represent the most interesting product ranges for companies in the region and show the most significant demand growth.
