Anti-bribery Policy, for an increasingly transparent company

Since January 1, 2022, Lafert Group has adopted an anti-bribery policy that identifies the relevant rules in any case of the disbursement of refunds, prizes and donations.

Since January 1, 2022, Lafert Group has adopted an anti-bribery policy that identifies the relevant rules in any case of the disbursement of refunds, prizes and donations. This is essential to protect the company and employees from unlawful actions. Being part of the international Sumitomo Heavy Industries group also means having clear and specific rules that govern all internal processes.

The effects of exposure to corruption are particularly significant, internally as well as externally, and deeply weaken the credibility of the company. Anti-bribery policies are formulated precisely to avoid these potential consequences." – Cristiana Damele, Finance Director. 
Lafert has published and shared a specific document with all employees aligned with the anti-bribery policy emended by the parent company Sumitomo Heavy Industries. All employees of Lafert Group companies are required to comply with the rules provided in the document. 
The anti-bribery policy defines ad hoc rules to be adopted in the internal organization and all the specific procedures to be followed in any case of donations, prizes or refunds. In fact, the document contains all the detailed and justified rules employees must adapt in the performance of their activities.
The anti-bribery policy is one of the actions that the Lafert Group is adopting to work towards its mission as a company committed to creating a better world.
