Lafert wins another important recognition: we are the Top 500 Venice. We have been included in the Top 500 of the companies in the Venetian industrial area that have proved to be driving forces for the local economy and that have developed innovative proposals and concrete solutions to respond to common problems in the field of sustainability.
The Top 500 Venice is the research promoted by pwc in collaboration with the Ca' Foscari University of Venice and North East Economy, that identifies the companies that have most contributed to the relaunch of the territory with their investment plan and their growth strategy. The research aims to give a picture of the Venetian industrial area by proposing to the economic and social community of the territory some best practices, stories and protagonists that can inspire in facing changes and problems of these years.
Among the leading companies of 2021, Lafert has also been included as one of the "good examples" of our territory for the development policies followed throughout our history in terms of technological research, international profile and competitiveness, investments in HR and sustainability.
In fact, our propensity for innovation does not end with the constant development of cutting-edge products and energy saving solutions to achieve the maximum efficiency, but it is incorporated in the way we look to the future outside and inside the company. It is the basis of the choice to build a new plant fully automated in line with the Industry 4.0 principles, it inspires the new Lafert Academy project that will start soon with the aim of training young talents, it guides us in the long and overall work we are implementing in terms of safety and environmental sustainability to follow the highest international standards.
