A weekend full of events that involved all employees and the town of San Donà di Piave
We celebrated our 60th year of activity by celebrating this milestone with the whole town of San Donà di Piave that has watched us grow into the significant international group we are today.
Shared memories and moments dedicated to the community and our colleagues The 23rd, 24th and 25th of September were three days of stories, meetings, concerts, shows and tastings that animated the spaces of San Donà town. A program was designed to be full of diversified events involving the entire local community, cultural and associative experiences and all Lafert employees.
Convention: "Improving by looking to the future between innovation and sustainability" During the Convention "Improving by looking to the future between innovation and sustainability", during one of the most significant moments of the program, we addressed some strategic goals for our future and some themes that are part of our DNA. Shaun Dean, CEO of Lafert Group, also spoke during the convention reiterating SHI's desire to keep Lafert well rooted in the territory with an eye constantly turned to the needs of the local community. The event was enriched by the involvement of some authoritative speakers such as Valerio Rossi Albertini physicist, academic and scientific popularizer and Enrico Pagliarini journalist of Il Sole24Ore and radio host, with the moderation of Marianna Aprile, journalist and television presenter.

Factory Tour and inauguration of the new plant in San Donà In these three days of celebration, we have opened the doors of our production plants to the citizens to provide an opportunity to visit the plants, see where the quality of our products comes from and experience the true business climate. The Factory Tour, led by our colleagues from the Operations Department, involved about 650 people including employees and their families, and citizens who were given the opportunity to learn more about the production processes at the San Donà and Noventa plants.
The inauguration of the new plant in San Donà di Piave was a moment of particular importance for Lafert. The new plant is built to align with the characteristics of Industry 4.0 equipped with automated and fully sustainable production lines. The inauguration was attended by the local authorities, the Mayor of San Donà and the vice president of Confindustria.
An experience dedicated to our international guests For our international guests we decided to organize a unique experience in Venice to visit the beautiful city and learn about our origins. After a boat ride with a typical Venetian lunch on board, they stopped in St. Mark's Square to visit the Doge's Palace and enjoy its beauty.
