Focus on the constant improvement and involvement of all facilities
The
Lafert Sustainability Report for 2022 was approved at the end of July. The Report highlights a constant commitment to achieve the objectives set out in our 2023-2026 Sustainability Plan: a Plan that defines quantitative objectives, concrete actions, roles and responsibilities of the areas involved, as well as performance indicators (KPIs) on which to analyze progress.
Constantly evaluating our sustainable development policy is essential for achieving the defined SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals), alongside appropriate projects and concrete initiatives.
Results spread across all facilities 2022 was a year of consolidation for the San Donà headquarters but also a year of strong involvement of all the Italian facilities of the Lafert Group that diligently followed the best practices already widespread in the headquarters, collaborating for the constant improvement of the entire Group.
Stakeholder involvement In drafting the 2022 Sustainability Report, we gave value and importance to the involvement of stakeholders who, as subjects expressing different interests towards our company and our activities, define the environment in which we operate. Their involvement has made it possible to understand their needs and expectations, representing an opportunity for Lafert to reach a better definition of business strategies and objectives, evaluating change, risks and opportunities.
Analysis of the SDGs and constant improvement Also this year we have analyzed the SDGs defined by the 2030 Agenda that we have indicated as priorities in our Sustainability Plan and on which, as a company, we are able to make a significant contribution thanks to our continuous commitment. Progressive improvements were highlighted on all the Sustainable Development Goals identified and a constant effort to add more and more value to the path we are taking.
Persevering with these best practices is in fact part of a well-defined path in our Sustainability Plan and is an important opportunity to measure and represent the economic, social and environmental results achieved. Thanks to this analysis we have given a precise assessment of the current status of the SDGs in Lafert by seizing the areas for improvement to create the basis on which to define future action plans.
