We have joined the network of companies that adhere to the regional project "Equally at work". We want to confirm our commitment to promoting gender equality, supporting women's employment and creating an inclusive and respectful work environment. The campaign is promoted by the Veneto Region and is related to the application of Regional Law no. 3 of 15 February 2022 "Provisions for the promotion of equal pay between women and men and support for stable and quality female employment".
Respect for the person, diversity and the work of each one is the cornerstone on which the Lafert corporate spirit is based. We join this project because we firmly believe that diversity is a resource and that promoting equal opportunities is not only a social duty, but also a competitive advantage.
We are Ambassadors of Equally at workWe have signed the
Charter of Principles: an initiative document of the Veneto Region that aims to summarize the principles of equity at work. By becoming ambassadors, we are witnesses to the values of the Charter, namely:
- promote an anti-discrimination organizational culture within the company to protect diversity and people's psycho-physical well-being, promoting stable and quality employment;
- activate and give continuity to measures that promote the reconciliation of life and work times;
- recognize the social and economic value and equal opportunities in the workplace;
- tackle the gender pay gap by building the conditions for unbiased access to internal career and growth paths;
- identify good practices to prevent discriminatory behavior within the company.

We have launched a certification process to attest to our commitment to diversity and inclusion.
- Training and awareness raising
Training programs are planned for all employees, aimed at spreading an inclusive and fair corporate culture.
- Personnel selection
All job advertisements are aimed at candidates regardless of gender and the selection processes are based solely on skills.
- Professional development plans
We offer all employees the same opportunities for professional development, regardless of gender.
- Work-life balance
We promote work-life balance through smart working, the initiatives introduced with the family project and agreements with external services.
- Collaborations with institutes and universities
Lafert is active in the promotion of STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) disciplines among female students.
