The difficulties with fulfilling customs regulations, the controls of customs authorities and the levy of any taxes due has led us to deal with our non-European Union clients through a local clearance service.

As of January 2018, with the local clearance procedure, Lafert will be replacing customs by clearing its goods in-house; thus speeding up clearance procedures and, above all, ensuring the traceability of exports.

For In-house clearance, consent for the customs operation is given to be performed in the company directly, using a preferred channel. Controls will be reduced to a minimum, resolving the release problem and expenses for the stay in ports and airports, with a considerable reduction in costs for clients.

Each export will be fully traceable thanks to a MRN identification code being issued directly; certifying that the goods have left EU territory and guaranteeing greater fiscal security.

Lafert becomes certified operator competent for customs operations, once again confirming high attention to clients, with this procedure aimed at improving the service.
