Now in its second year the SPS/IPC/DRIVES Italy trade fair is heralded a great success as visitor attendance increases by 34% compared to 2011. This reflects the optimism of the Industrial Automation sector, which cites the increased figures as a sign of its strength and contrary to the crisis of recent times.
The Brushless Servomotors driving the Comau robot exhibited on the Lafert stand formed a type of frame to set the scene that demonstrated the acknowledged presence of Lafert Group in this so promising sector.
Centre of interest was also the new range of Battery-powered Drives manufactured by Lafert Servo Drives, which allow the control of Brushless Motors installed on battery-powered motor vehicles and other mobile applications.
The presentation of the range of IE4 Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors, was demonstrated by two industrial applications - a fan manufactured by Nicotra Gebhardt and a pump with Calpeda trademark - are fully in line with the commodity sector of this exhibition.
