IAS - SHANGHAI, 19-23 September

From 19 to 23 September 2023, the Industrial Automation Show (IAS), the international reference fair for machine tools, automation and the energy sector, will take place in Shanghai. With a strong market orientation and extensive know-how on the needs of multiple applications, we have designed motors with special features that optimize performance and energy efficiency, reducing volumes. Our solutions are perfectly applied in all industrial systems where technical features such as high control capacity, precision and compactness are fundamental and priority characteristics for the overall optimization of the system.

After 4 years, we return to meet the Asian market by participating in IAS Shanghai. We will have the opportunity to understand the changes in the market by knowing deeper their needs, we will meet new and historical partners presenting our innovations dedicated to industrial automation, some of which are made in collaboration with the other companies of the Sumitomo group.

Lafert Suzhou will present the complete range of our motors designed for Industrial Automation: Specifically:

PPMA SHOW, Birmingham 26-28 September

Total Processing & Packaging Exhibition (PPMA Show) in Birmingham is the UK's largest trade fair for food and pharmaceutical packaging machines, bringing together all the latest technologies from production lines to robots. Servo motors, high-performance motors, drives and special solutions to ensure high hygiene standards are the main areas of focus at the PPMA in Birmingham.

Now in our fifteenth participation, we want to present to the market the solutions developed in recent years specifically for this sector, new technologies and integrated packages: systems with increasingly compact dimensions thanks to the integration between motor and drive, able to guarantee maximum performance in terms of reliability and precision. In particular, HP Combi and HP Integral, the packages that combine the very high IE5 efficiency of our permanent magnet synchronous motors with our variable frequency drives (VFDs), achieving the highest standards of energy efficiency.

UK-based Lafert Electric Motors will present our packaging solutions at the PPMA Show, starting with Ultra Compact servomotors, the brushless range that offers an increase in torque density of up to 30% for the same motor size and reduced size up to 20%.

Another innovation resulting from the synergies within the Sumitomo Group that can be explored live at the fair is Smartris: an AGV solution that combines maximum precision with reliability thanks to the integration between motor, gearbox and drive in reduced volumes.

Latest news on display: the Pad Mount design solution developed to meet the application requirements of axial fans where the mounting of motors with reduced dimensions and without protruding elements allows the impact on the airflow to be minimized, thus guaranteeing a reduction in energy consumption.
