As the subject foreground is energy saving, Lafert is answering the challenges with the introduction of an innovative design, a gearless permanent magnet machine, energy efficient with a small diameter sheave. It is more compact, less noisy and practically vibration free. This size and weight advantage allows it to be installed in the lift shaft, without the need of a machine room. Lafert remains confident that this product will be well received and will generate a lot of interest.
