From assembly to robotic: Total Processing & Packaging Exhibition - PPMA, collecting all latest technologies in packaging and labelling applications, will be held from 1 to 3 October in Birmingham, Great Britain.
“The biggest news of this show will be the extension of our innovative range of permanent magnet motors with integrated drive – explains the Managing Director of Lafert Electric Motors, Brian Bannister - now included the HPI71, offering efficiencies as high as IE5. This means that we have a range of permanent magnet solutions covering from 0.55kW to 37kW. Of course we will also be showing our three phase and single phase range of motors along with brake motor variants, and a selection of servo motors and drives, including the drive for battery powered vehicles. We have extended our services offered with a quick turnaround from our on-site workshop: increased IP levels, shaft modifications, fitting of heaters, PTC or even flying leads. The flexible design of the Lafert multi-mount system also enables modification in-house to meet most of our customers’ requirements.”
Many customers are still not fully aware of continual changes within legislation regarding efficiencies and mandatory rules, our Motor Specialists will be on hand to assist with updating regarding current and future requirements.
“We are already working with several members of the Process Packaging and Machinery Association – continues Brian Bannister – and our product range is equally applicable and beneficial to the shows visitors as it is to exhibitors. It is our strategy to ensure that everyone visiting our stand is fully familiar with the technical and commercial benefits that dealing with Lafert can bring to their respective businesses. It is our intention to continue to develop and grow both the business and our customer base whilst ensuring all advantages that dealing with one of the most respected European technology driven motor manufacturer brings – concludes Brian Bannister. As always service and support for our UK customers is paramount and we endeavour to be first in class, the result of this ethos is that we have an excellent record of customer retention.”
Next projects? “We intend to focus our activities on targeting specific business areas where the group have enjoyed success. This can be across many industry sectors including, fans, pumps, automation and the Wind Industry.”
