The most important European trade fair for Industry and Automation will take place in Hannover from 1 to 5 April. The HMI – Hannover Messe Industry is a compound of 6 major key aspects: Industrial Supply, Digital Factory, IAMD (Integrated Automation, Motion & Drives), Comvac, Research & Technology and Energy. “In our focus is the relevant fair for IAMD - Holger Klein, Managing Director of Lafert GmbH, begins - and we will display our leading permanent magnet technology of IE4/IE5 motor solutions, the established range of IE3 asynchronous motors, also available in NEMA Premium Efficiency, meeting the requirements of the EISA Directive, and finally our full range of servo motors”.

“We have completed - Klein continues - the range of permanent magnet motors (IE4/IE5) by adding the frame size 56 and extended the frame size 160 up to 37kW. Beside that HPS range extension, we have also re-engineered and re-designed the HPI range, permanent magnet motors with integrated drive, starting from frame size 71, now available in single-phase version. The trend for energy saving solutions is still growing and this will also push the business for Lafert, because we are leading in the permanent magnet technology of IE4/IE5 motor solutions. Especially customised solutions in view of the mechanical and electrical design, and not to forget the special corrosion protection Lafert can add to the motors by providing C3 up to C5 varnish”.

“We are awaiting a lot of professional visitors and new contacts during the five days in Hannover. In our focus – Klein specifies – there are the target applications like HVAC and pumps with demand for our famous range of energy efficient motors, beside automation applications and robots demanding our full range of servo motors. Last year – the General Manager says - Lafert could finalise the development of a lot of new customised motors driven by strong partnerships with market leader in essential core sectors like renewable energies, HVAC, air technologies, pumps and robots”.

“Due to the incredible weight and size reduction of our HP range and servomotors, we are the choice for the technology leader of the mentioned sectors. Finally – Klein concludes – I will take the opportunity to announce that we will present to the market with a new look, a new corporate design that highlights the new synergy with the Sumitomo Group”.
