From 25th to 26th May, London ExCel will host LIFTEX 2016, the trade show devoted to the manufacturers, suppliers, installers and specifiers of lift and escalator products and services. Held every three years by the LEIA (Lift and Escalator Industry Association), it will welcome more than 100 exhibitors and over 3,000 visitors.

On display will be the Lafert gearless machines with a nominal torque of up to 850Nm for capacities reaching 1600 kg and a 2:1 roping ratio, which serve high-capacity applications, such as hospitals, shopping centres and car parks. Plus, there will also be our gearless machines for systems with a speed of up to 2.5 m/s, which meet the ever-growing demand for high speed at increased heights. All motors come in TENV units to reduce noise levels.
Machines for capacities up to 1275 kg are NETEC-certified for the Chinese market and have double braking systems for greater safety, no manual brake to ensure easier maintenance, induction sensors for demanding applications and cURus brakes in line with ASME A17 for North America. Therefore, new solutions with very compact double-coil brakes, quiet brakes and compliant with UNI EN81-11:2010, as well as with amendment A3 EN81-1.
