ARBS 2016 is the trade show devoted to the air conditioning, refrigeration and building service industries; more than 250 manufacturers and suppliers from around the world will be exhibiting in Melbourne from 17th to 19th May.
“We really feel enthusiastic because – says Morgan Harrington, General Manager at Lafert Electric Motors Australia – it’s a great opportunity to display Lafert’s various motor ranges, but also exciting to be able to discuss our energy saving performance solutions with Australian companies and highlight how easy it is to reach top efficiency levels with our motors. Plus one of Asia’s leading companies in the ventilation sector will be showcasing our IE4 motors with their equipment.”
Being displayed on the Lafert stand will be the innovative HPS range of Premium Efficiency synchronous motors that comply with the highest international efficiency levels of IE4 and IE5. This range covering the powers of 0.55kW to 30kW, are driven by a variable speed sensorless drive and utilise permanent magnets. Various application requirements can be met by choosing IPM or SMPM technology, and for the exhibition motors specifically optimised for the HVAC application will be shown.
According to Morgan Harrington, “The Australian government backs innovation and this is certainly an additional incentive to explore new opportunities. The future for us lies with high efficiency motors, especially in our growing markets of the fan, pump and food-processing industries. Last year, working with these last industries contributed to a 20% increase in our sales revenues. We are working precisely in this direction whilst also expanding our distribution networks both in Australia and New Zealand.”
"Moreover, this year we received some very important orders for our HPS motors. This is clear proof that Lafert products are acclaimed and yet also in demand in our market. Our next goal? We would like to further expand our Premium products in the fan and pump industries,” says the General Manager.
