On August 28th, 2020, the 6th Capek Prize Awarding Ceremony together with the 10th China International Robot Summit Forum was held in Wuhu, Anhui Province in China. Lafert (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., as a global supplier for robot key parts, was invited to participate to the summit and won the Capek "Best Industrial Design” Award.
Capek Prize takes its name from Karel Capek, a Czech writer, best known for his science fiction and as the creator of the word “Robot”. Established in 2014, the Capek Prize has grown over the past six years into the most credible and influential award in China's robot industry.
As an international company strongly focused on motor design, Lafert, with its ATEX explosion-proof servo motor range, successfully caught the attention of the Capek Award selection jury and won the “Best Industrial Design Award”.
