A new series of Brushless Motors will be officially launched at the SPS Exhibition in Nuremberg, from 24-26 November, a leading fair for Automation Systems and Components. The new size B16Q series extends the Lafert range of Brushless Servo Motors into the higher powers up to a rated torque of 390 Nm.
The new series is specifically designed for applications with high axial loads, high acceleration and dynamics, and has also the characteristic to cover multi-purpose applications such as presses, pumps, plastic injection machines and extruding machines.
The series B16Q supports torque values from 140 to 300 Nm in the conventional “square shape” configuration but when fitted with a fan cooling unit this can be increased by some 30% to 390 Nm. The rated speed is also increased up to 2000 rpm. It means the offered power is double compared to the existing motor range.
Various options are available such as brake, encoders and cURus certification.
