Lafert for Sport in Piazza 2022: Get involved with us!

Over a hundred Lafert colleagues present at the company tournament organized within the sporting event "Sport in Piazza", including a team directly from the plant in Slovenia Lafert Elektromotorji!

We join as an active sponsor of the event "Sport in Piazza" organized and promoted by the Municipality of San Donà and the Department of Sport and Quality of Life. Sport In Piazza is a month of sporting events until July 2nd that will involve hundreds of athletes engaged in more than ten sporting activities in the Municipality’s spaces.

We have always believed and supported team sport since we share its values and principles. Within our company we are all players of the same team, where every role is fundamental in winning the game. Therefore, we have decided to give a contribution to this event: we are among the official sponsors of "Sport in Piazza".

Corporate soccer tournament.

To practise sport actively is the best way to support and sponsor it! We did not miss this opportunity to spend time together having fun and facing a new challenge, a sporting challenge.

In recent weeks, we have organized a soccer tournament between colleagues reserved exclusively for the Lafert staff in the Municipality square on the evenings of Tuesday June 7th and 14th.

The turnout was excellent, with more than 80 participants divided into eight teams. It was exciting to host our colleagues from Lafert Elektomotorji in Slovenia who participated in the tournament with their team, a symbol of the involvement and union between colleagues even at a distance. It was an important opportunity to get to know each other, have fun and share moments outside a purely working environment.

The Slovenian team won the tournament on penalties, they were so proud to bring the Lafert Trophy to their facility!

The great and enthusiastic participation from the internal staff encourages us to participate at the event again next year. In fact, we will expand the number of corporate tournaments by including other sports such as beach volleyball and rugby, trying to involve more of our colleagues from abroad.

As in sport, even in everyday work challenges, teamwork unites us and supports us in facing every new challenge together.
