In April, Lafert hosted the players of Rugby San Donà as the official sponsor of the team, strengthening the relationship between the two parties. It was an opportunity to endorse our support once again for Rugby San Donà. For many years, we have been sponsors of this sporting team that is an integral part of our company counting numerous players and ex-players among our employees and their families. We recognise the values of rugby in the team spirit and determination of our company, and value them internally and when looking for new staff.
This year the renewed commitment of Lafert in favour of Rugby San Donà brings remarkable news: the establishment of a Scholarship that will be awarded to deserving young athletes, who excel in both athletics and academics, and the organization of an Open Day where the team will get the complete Lafert Group experience and better understand our international presence.
The company visit
Fifty young people aged 7 to 25 had the opportunity to visit the Lafert manufacturing plants in San Donà thanks to competent guides who, based on the age of the group and the level of attention, guided them to discover the world of electric motors. In the historic factory they were able to see the main processes carried out at Lafert, touch some finished products and get to know the place where the famous quality of our motors is born. In the brand-new plant, the students also had the opportunity to see fully automated production lines, robots and cutting-edge machinery.
The company visit started with a brief introduction from the President of Rugby San Donà, followed by Shaun Dean, CEO of Lafert Group who, wearing the official shirt of the San Donà Rugby team, greeted the boys and thanked them for their commitment to sport and for their interest in our industry.
