Lafert Group at the Historical Venetian Regatta for the territory, young people and sport.

For hundreds of years the Historical Regatta has been one of the most spectacular and engaging moments of life in Venice. Every year on the first Sunday of September the beaty of the Grand Canal becomes the perfect setting for the ancient art of Venetian rowing.

Authentic athletes become champions of the public that crowds the shores, engaging in different races on board traditional boats: the oar champions on the "formula one of the lagoon" the very fast "gondolini", very strong regattas on the six oars called "caorline", the women on the agile "mascarete" and then the very young on the "pupparini" with an elegant thin profile.

At the last competitive regatta on Sunday 4 September, two of the boats engaged among the young people were sponsored by Lafert Group. Another opportunity to reiterate the company's closeness to the history of its territory, with an eye towards the future of young people and healthy sports competition.

The red "pupparin" of the couple Samuele Rinaldin and the Venetian doc Sebastiano Cordella, at the end of a fantastic race, received the white flag that rewards their second place, while the other crew composed of Gianluca Rinaldin and Daniel Burato obtained an excellent sixth position. Young people between 16 and 19 years old that we at Lafert Group wanted to support for their commitment to a little-known but no less important sport. Because these young people represent at the same time the history and the future of our territory and on the other hand the proximity of our company to local communities.
